Not only that, but it would have to be a blinking good venue for me to pay for a Taxi.

Just to confirm Sara lous post about Darren the barber, I saw him up at the Club today as i use him, i said any ideas where u are going Darren, From the horses mouth as they say, I am opening on monday Chris upstairs in the Quesada Gym on the Aeroporto road quarter of a mile if that further along from JRs.

I think they lasted 2 years is this about the expected life span for the place
any TQers that have been around the area for a while?

This is such a pity, Maggs & Kevin are real workers & the nicest family you could ever meet, they helped us no end when we first came to Spain, I think this is all down to a greedy landlord & extortionate rent now the property is empty whose the winner now? Answer nobody, such a shame.

Nothing's changed then. Same reason for at least 2 previous tenants.

If its so extortionate why take it on in the first place
Anyone thinking about buying a business would normally look at how the trade has been, rent, bills etc

You’d be right, if potential new business owners were buying a going concern but most are renting an empty property, where no previous track record exists.

They might have been nice people in the eyes of some people but they knew they were leaving when they took all our money for our Christmas meal and deposit for New Year very nice people I don’t think so 100 euros or so we have lost.

If they are such nice people perhaps they will return our Christmas Day and New year money that took from us only a couple of weeks before thay did a runner ! Pass that on..
