JR’s Country Club

i heard today that JR’s has been locked up by a chain around the gates. If true can anyone confirm and or tell me where the barber has gone, please?

Hopefully Darren the barber will find other premises. I think he's got a Facebook page.

I don't think JR's is closed, they tell me that it is an electrical problem they are sorting out so why would the barber be looking for a new venue?

I have written above I don't think JR's is closed due to what they are telling me. Do you know different?

Why not just call them rather than speculate??

I think if I went there and found a chain around the door I would fear the worst.

If it was simply an electrical problem why not just lock the door as normal and put up a sign?

There's a sign on the door- closed essential maintenance. To my knowledge now closed 4 days, but haven't seen anyone working.

We came past it yesterday and the gates were open and people coming and going!

Don't think it'll be missed any time I've been in it it's been empty
