Energy performance certificate

Can you download the energy certificate if you cannot find the original one have the reference number

Dont know who did it was done by people we bought the house from

Seemingly there are a couple of ways. The easiest is get the .pdf file from whoever did it originally. Or if you live on a community of owners it should be with the documents regarding your property and either the President or Administrator should have a copy. The official way is request a copy from AVEN. It appears we are lucky in the Communidad Valenciana because there is a cental public register of the certificates. When you access the website below click on
Información al ciudadano" and click on the link at the bottom of the page which says"Solicitud duplicados".

You will need your cadastral no as well.

Have you paid IBI/local rates this year. It will be on the invoice issued by SUMA.
