Bankia app

What is the latest situation with the Bankia app following the security breach?

Did anyone actually access the app and encounter any problems ?

Or,is anyone actually using the app at the moment trouble free ?

I have not accessed it myself in the hope that all settles down.

I have just logged into the Bankia app - no problems. A bit slow ( but that is usual) but straight in.

I am with Bankia. Could you tell me what the security breach was as I hadn’t heard anything.

It was reported by citizens advice in Spain that a number of Spanish banks apps had been infected by some sort of virus/trojan horse.
I have tried an advanced search to find the original post but failed to find it.

No problems here with the Bankia app, If you are concerned go and ask in the bank.

I keep getting an email from Bankia but it is in spanish and can’t translate it very well, but having said that I used the app last week and didn’t appear to have any problems.

Hi, its an overlay that looks just like the bankia app and siphons off anything you enter, such as passwords etc, only affects android phones, only a threat if you access, view or download the gnip virus by say watching a video

I dont use there apt I just go onto the bank with the search engine no problems. Pete.
