Attempted burglary Calle Quevedo

Last night at 11 p.m. two people tried to break into our house on Calle Quevedo while we were asleep inside! They got a grille off one of the windows but they ran away once discovered. Thanks to the Policía Local and Guardia Civil for attending so promptly.

Something needs to be done about this crimewave that seems to be hitting Quesada and Rojales!

Worrying update: We've found half-eaten fruit from our trees discarded in the garden which suggests that these two may have been hiding there for some time waiting for us to go to bed!

Sorry to hear your news, stay safe and vigilant don't let the scum win. It is important that everyone posts anything that goes on around the area, we are all on the look out then and can help each other.

Although I have no idea of the cost, it may be worth investing in a CCTV system if possible

Keep your property well lit on the outside. Burglars dont like noise or light.

Light of any kind puts them off.

Do you have an alarm? I am connected to Security direct, hope that scares them off!! I installed it after a burglery in my house March this year ..

They smashed all our sensors on our outside lights nothing seems to deter these scumbags.
