Fred you are hardly suggesting there is something fishy going on!!! :) :) It is probably that within the flood area particular family names are quite common. We would be quite used to that in Ireland.

Plenty of dead fish and crayfish on my land from the stream that overflowed
I do believe that there is something wrong with the system my claim is for under 1000 euros and the assessor agreed it weeks ago so where is it and where is the emergency 1500 that was supposed to be paid out straight away so claimants could get their houses clean , we did not cause the flooding the water company bosses did so they should get their hands in their pockets and pay .

I had the assessor come last night for the town hall/Valencian emergency funding. Young lady in a tatty old car, with her son asleep on the back seat... very pleasant, showed her where i was affected, which is all repaired and painted now, and photos on my tablet of all the furniture and goods disposed of, which she took pictures of.

Other than saying over 8000 homes were having to be assessed for this funding she was very non committal..

So i will wait and see if my name appears anytime soon
