Geo blocked firestick

Hi everyone it's me fire-stick man again,

Thank you for all your helpful tips, very much appreciated. However, I've received a couple of private emails telling me that if I've purchased the item from Spain it will be Geo Blocked for all UK apps, so I've wasted my money, Yikes! Apparently it's complicated but can be unblocked, wait for it, for a fee. Could you kind people out there put me out of my misery, can I accomplish this fiendishly difficult process with my own limited cerebral ability or should I pay the fee? Thanks.

What apps are you talking about... mine is from Spain and can use prime and Netflix etc, some content is geo blocked this is due to copyright laws but can find most film series etc on streaming apps

You can use a vpn if needed but free ones are crap ... I manage without

someone is having you on I have supplied many to clients in this area and never had any problems Firesticks work all over the globe

Only Apps you might struggle with is BBC iPlayer, others should all work...

Depending on what you’re doing I always use a VPN anyway

Google a guy called Troypoint, you may have to subscribe but I think it’s free. He posts videos on YouTube that you can pause and follow. He does step by step guides that are easy to follow/understand.

Get a VPN, I have the Nord VPN allows installation on 6 devices, very good price for two years and voted one of the best VPN's.

In my message I said if you buy from Amazon es you must tick the box its a gift to stop the stick being registered to your ES account which then geo blocks iplayer etc.
If you then register to a UK address it will give you UK appps eg iplayer.
We have never charged a fee for unblocking a Firestick.
If you do register to a Spanish address you can still add the UK apps on to the stick however its to complicated to go into on here. Alternatively and easier if you have already purchased and registered to a spanish address. You can deregister your account from settings and re register a UK address. This then gives you iplayer etc back.

The only fee we charge is for a fully maintained TV system for the year.

We even make no charge for a full instruction manual and guidance how to set up iplayer in Spain without using a VPN which can be easily blocked.
