Just be careful who deal with at Rojales Suma office in Rojales, they claim they don’t speak English only, they can do when want to,just down to lazyness.
Also when you doing one off payment like refuse payment, they say that on particular payment it went which it does not,yes find l them not to be trusted as a government department but there again Spain for you,bit like U.K. in some aspects.

You are in Spain if you can't speak Spanish take a translator, it is not up to them to speak English of course many can. As in UK going to office there they expect you to speak English,, of course most of the European community have a far better grasp of foreign languages

GLASSMAN WROTE Same here, always very helpful, also if you cant speak Spanish or don't want to, translate what you want to say/ask on your computer write it down and show it to them , you have to make an effort surely!

I've always found them very friendly and easy to deal with. My Spanglish [mainly English] works every time.

I find it incredible that the OP accuses the staff of "lazyness" (sic).

This is the pot calling the kettle black.

As others have said...you're in SPAIN, so you should make the effort to speak Spanish, or take a translator.

No disrespect meant to Matthew, but his written English makes me wonder if his spoken English might have been the cause of any misunderstanding. I too have never had a problem communicating in English at Suma office(s), with many visits iduring the past 17 years.
