To give you some perspective.

Our internet provider is Dvblab, it's a wimax with a small antenna, we pay for 10mb download speed.
Nowadays that is quite low but as ours is a holiday home it suits our needs.
We have 2 phones, 2 pads and a smart tv connected to it, the tv streams Netflix and YouTube with no issues.
Last night I watched a live football match on my pad, no buffering whatsoever....all on 10mb download.

10mb is more than adequate for streaming as long as it is 10mb and not 1 or 2mb which it can be when the world, his dog, and his teenage kids, are all sucking on it at the same time!

I agree with Kenbo, we started with 4 Mb Wimax with Scansat, they then upgraded us free to 10Mb fibre when it rolled out and last year upgraded us to 50Mb . . . Ours is a holiday home and whilst we can discern the difference between the 4Mb and 50Mb the change from 10Mb to 50Mb has been largely invisible . . .
