Lobster mobile phones

Lobster mobile phones

Postby Jonnno » Fri Jan 24, 2020 2:54 pm

I'm thinking of switching to Lobster mobile from Hits mobile.

Does anyone have experience of switching to or from either, or using either?

Thanks

I have Lobster and no complaints. They did everything, even able to retain my number.

We think they're really good the only thing we didn't like was the fact that if friends replied to a txt it cost our friends a euro to reply when we rang and asked about it their response was " well somebody as to pay for the service' not a good start but now we got around it and send emails or phone instead! All good

Personally think hits are hard to beat so wonder why you want to change
I have 11oo mins of calls and 3mb of data for less than 5uro a month
And customer service not bad if u do have an issue

Heard very mixed reviews on lobster and if they did go belly up you would maybe lose your number

Delighted with Lobster. Have made calls in the UK, France and Italy without any problems. The service is always reliable. So happy I changed.
I have Lobster and no complaints. They did everything, even able to retain my number.
Numbers are portable across all networks and operators so not a function of Lobster.
How good is Internet? How many bars?
Same as for every operator, depends on signal strength where you are. At home I get 2 bars which is good for 30mb. When I get 4 bars I can get 60mb.
Lobster is telephonica in drag …!!!
Movistar in other words and arguably the network with best overall coverage.
.... 2 meg and unlimited calls and texts 12 euros per month, how bad is that
The base Lobster €12 deal is now 4gb/mth up from 2gb.
only thing we didn't like was the fact that if friends replied to a txt it cost our friends a euro to reply
That will be a function of your friends phone deal not a charge by Lobster

I've been with Lobster for 6 months or so and more than happy.
