We use a company called Sunbay. Just by the needle roundabout. Always a good policy and reasonable rates. We had a claim for a window and it was all dealt with by the insurance no problem whatsoever.

Liberty Seguros seem to be keen on home insurance pricing. I don't know if they deal directly with homeowners or if you have to go through an agent.

Go and see the ladies in Right Move insurance in Quesada - next door to Chop Shop. Very efficient and knowledgable and very helpful. You can sit in the office and have a talk about what you are looking for and they are English .

In my experience all Insurance Companies offer very similar levels of cover be it for car, home, travel whatever, and of course prices can vary depending on the level of cover you want put in place. The acid test comes when you claim; how helpful, efficient and speedy are the brokers or insurance companies then? if you are recommending somebody, have you had to make a claim and how was it dealt with or are you just recommending them because they are "nice" people and are "English" I am fortunate that in 17 years I have never had to make a claim so would be interested to hear the views of people who have had to make a claim. that would then give me more information on which to base a decision.
