Driving License

Hi, we have surrended our UK driving licenses and are waiting to recieve our spanish ones, We now need to go to Tenerife and the UK. we have a, Autorizacion Temporal Para Conducir. Does anyone know if we can hire a car using the ATPC ? I guess the UK is out the questoin, what about Tenerife? cheers

This site Temporary Licence lists companies in Spain (and Tenerife is part of Spain) that will hire with the temporary licence.
However, it does advise to check with the company first as they may have different rules at different offices.

It is only valid in Spain. Don't know when you are going but my wife's new licence arrived within a couple of weeks of getting the temporary one.

We both used our temp Spanish licenses to hire in the UK no problem. Thankfully we now have our full Spanish licenses , only took 3 months.

That really surprises me, exactly what are you calling "temporary licences"?

Used this in the UK on two separate occasions, no problem. Have received the proper licence now.
