all flights to spain cancelled

all jet 2 flights (even those in the air ) have been cancelled
those in the air have been turned around and are returning
i was due to fly at 15.00 hrs today

im trying to book with Ryanair for tomorrow but cant get any information from airline

im missing the sunshine

Marcliff has asked that we do not open new threads about airlines cancelling and shops closing, just keep to one thread regarding flights and one thread regarding shops closing etc. That way we haven't got lots of threads regarding exactly the same thing and we don't know where we are.

Really? You still want to come over considering flights are being cancelled (as already pointed out on several threads going).
Bars and restaurants are closed completely as are sports facilities, beaches, council offices and many more.
Spanish parliament meeting today to confirm the "State of Alarm" which could result in forcing people to stay indoors except to go to supermarkets which may be the only things open but which are denuded of stock before lunchtime.

Oh, and we have rain forecast and temperatures dropping to less than that of UK next week.
Perhaps stay where you are.

But please try and use one of the open threads on this as it is getting confusing jumping around when a new one gets started dealing with the same subject.

My friend had been told they will be flying back to the uk on Jet2 tomorrow as they are flying empty planes UK - Spain to allow this to happen. Perhaps Ryanair are doing the same?

On this note, we have to get my niece and her partner back to UK on that Jet2 flight tomorrow morning- can anyone advise if we will be o.k to drive them to Alicante airport, and us back? Any advise much appreciated.

I believe a neighbour is taking them. Maybe call protection civil on 965 713 927 to check but not sure if they will speak English

On the N332 page they say you cannot take people to the airport
