This item about Mercadona is Fake news please ignore it this was confirmed by Mercadona today they are taking cash they are asking clients to keep to the one meter rule,please before you post ANY thing at the moment check from the scorce is correct you do more game than good.

Mercadona are not repeat not doing home delivery.

It was obviously false once I read the bit about banning old people

I never said they banned old people, I said they had been asked not to use it probably because they are vulnerable. Yes I did say no cash, cards only as thats what the Olive Press published, on the Mercadona website they say they would prefer you did not use cash but used a card. So really it's not fake news and see no reason why it should be taken down.

I read it that they had asked older people not to use cash due to the risk of germs it can spread, not that they had asked them not to use the stores.

I've just re-read it and it does read like that, I should have said they have been asked not to use Mercadona, but hey ho let carry on.
