All Hotels, Tourists lets, Campings to close

The Government has announced all Hotels, Short-term tourist lets,Camping Sites and Caravan Parks to close within a week.

The hotels may be made available to the authorities as spare capacity

Also they are opening a Field Hospital alongside Alicante Hosp with capacity for 400 beds. A further field hospital in Valencia City of 700 beds and one in Castellon with 200 beds.

I was thinking about motor homes, one pulled up outside my house, the driver got out, went next door for a nag and drink then they both went out in it? I said to my husband would that be classed as his home?

No, and very possibly for most of the season if not the rest of the year, something else for those relying on holiday letting to pay a mortgage to worry about.

I heard yesterday (unverified) that Marjal, or whatever they call themselves now, were turfing out everyone except those actually resident there.

A friend of mine was refused boarding in UK to catch her flight to Spain as she did not have on her sufficient proof that she was a Spanish resident.

Gosh, when was this? Was it the airline asking? Have heard of others getting through without being asked anything...

Maybe that's part of EU lock down for a month.

was she a Spanish resident with a UK passport,can see why they wanted more evidence ,what would have been sufficient ?
