Not that I’m aware of
But, to be honest, they’re so well stocked you shouldn’t have a problem getting what you need anytime through out the day
Both have security and monitor how many people are in the store

I don't think they do. But I find if you go about 3pm it's very very quite and stocks are plentyful.

I wen to Aldi last Thursday at about 11am. Sign up saying no more than 30 in the shop but there were only about 12 in the entire place. Fully stocked. No need for pensioners hours.

Due to the number of retirement people they would need special hour for the younger people.

It’s not about privileges, it’s about risk of passing on infection from otherwise fit and healthy people, to those with other on going health issues. It’s not all of the elderly, but is generally seen as those who are elderly are likely to suffer more if they catch this bug.
That’s all, no discrimination, no ones gunna buy more stuff than you. Surely u must have been educated enough by now to realise what this lock down is all about.
Happy safe shopping for all.

I have been told I must stay in, but I have managed to get a very speedy delivery from my local supermarket. The only mistake was that they mistook my saying "Minced Beef" , even adding ' Ternera', for "Mincemeat" so I got a pot of Robertson's for my Christmas mince pies!!
So I am ready to continue my incarceration (and No, it does not make you blind!!) Actually, i don't mind it too much and it's a small price IMO for being safe.
