As for the road from the Arches upto the new boulevarde ...well it looks pretty much the same to me..metal fencing , no pavements. Pretty much still a building site.
A long way off completion, the business must be tearing their hair out.

There has been no progress whatsoever since the lockdown. I am hoping that maybe they will begin work on it next week as restrictions are relaxed. We can only hope!

They could be working now if they wished
I’ve seen several works carried out in the area by the council

At least 20 workmen doing the roads in Quesada and I saw 4 of the machines going backward and forward. Loads of bar and restaurant owners out doing cleaning and touching up paintwork etc.
The road from by Don Carlos going past the tobacco shop is now closed off so you can only get there on foot. There were a couple of cars parked outside the newsagent pointing the wrong direction but there is nothing at the top of the road to say you can ignore the no entry signs.

Some of the trenches were being filled in by shovel with a roller going backward and forward. I did have to drive up to Mas y Mas when I couldn't get up the tobacco shop road but didn't notice if there was much work going on as the road you drive on is so bad you have to concentrate on the potholes.

From Mas y Mas to Lidl is temporarily closed off and all traffic is being diverted up that side road where people park.
Traffic from Lidl to Mas y Mas roundabout is not affected.
