We went today. Lots of activity from people working on the High Street.

They have started laying the paving on side they are working on.. It is block paving not your usual standard square stuff. They are working colours and a design into it. It looks quite good.

Vilna/Consie[Am a bit baffled, how can a hole support a path]
The holes ect are where they are replacing and inproving all the sewage and other utilities that were under the paths ..the main high street must of been built about 30 years ago so lots of pipes and cables been added over the years ...an old picture of the Don Carlos

We walked up the high street 8am this morning. There were about 16 work men working on the high street.. The block pavement looks good on the side were vista bar is. But I do feel for the bars and restaurants

What I heard from a very good source and sounds about right,the works come under the council but are actual being carried out by a subcontractor who had to stop the works for a period of time due to them not having the correct licenses in place.
