Flight cancelled with Ryanair - 4th & 11th ?

rather strange today. Ryanair. cancelled our flights to Alicante. on both dates.
4th July and 11th July. but there still taking bookings for both dates. but the early flight. ? so are the y presuming it won't happen this far in advance.

just had the same,7july-16 cancelled, cancelling routes me thinks.

Which UK airport were you booked from?

I wonder if these planes were fully booked and they can only seat 40% of people , then some people ( 60% of those booked ) will have to have their bookings cancelled.
Could this be the answe?

I get the feeling Ryanair are running a kind of "Ponzi scheme", basically they get money in for new bookings then cancel the flights, they will then offer a voucher or a refund (which will take a year) this then gives them some money and time to pay back customers from March & April.

Just had our outbound July flights cancelled but our Alicante to southend is still on return booked separately.
My daughters flights have been cancelled outbound but not the return but all booked at the same time,
what is he playing at.

That's standard. Exactly what happened to our April and May flights. The return will cancel later.

Flights were never going to start that early, so there's absolutely no surprise having July flights cancelled.

Ah ok. It's just that there's another post about Ryanair having cancelled all flights from Leeds as it appears they've pulled out of the route.

i think you are right, a percentage if travellers has to be forfeited to abide by current rules.
