Where in Spain 2

Again here are some photos I've taken during my trips around Spain.
Do you know where they are?
Again I will give a few clues on them later & they are all on my website, so easy to cheat and google.

Here's the answers:-

n) A Caruña - Galicia
The famous Roman lighthouse - the oldest operational lighthouse in the world. The 'spiral' that can be seen on the outside walls were a cantilevered pathway which was used by donkeys to carry fuel up for the beacon.

0) A Toxa - an island in Galicia.
The chapel is clad with scallop shells & the statue inside emulates Botticelli's 'birth of Venus' rising from a giant scallop shell

p) Avila - Castille y Leon

q) Barcelona - Catalonia

r) Belchite - Aragón.
The town was completely destroyed by Franco during the civil war and he refused to let it be rebuilt. It is now used as a film location for apocalyptic sci-fi etc.

s) Covadonga - Asturias
On the edge of the Picos de Europa park, besides the cathedral there is this chapel built in a cave behind a waterfall.

t) Deltebre - Catalonia
The picture shows a fish trap on the marshes of the delta of the Rio Ebro

u)Haro - Rioja
The town calls itself the capital of Rioja

v) Guadix - Andalucia
Famous for its cave houses

w) Illa Arousa - Galicia
An island in Galicia where they land all the catches of mussels. The picture shows one of the many heavily laden barges being unloaded.

x) Santiago de Compostela - Galicia
The photo shows the Galician city of culture there, but obviously the town is best known for the pilgrimages to the shrine of Saint James

y) Tarragona - Catalonia
Besides the Roman theatre, the town is also known as the centre of the 'castels' - human towers - and you may watch/participate in their practice sessions there once a week

z) Segovia -Castille y Leon
Well known of course, for its Roman aqueduct
