Buying outdoor furniture

Buying outdoor furniture

Postby kev19720 » Wed Jul 08, 2020 9:48 pm

Hi

Im about to purchase a holiday home and we are in the process of buying furniture etc, we've looked at Ikea but the choice isn't the best. Could anybody give some suggestions for outdoor furniture? table and chairs, recliners etc.

Also is there a hardware type store in Quesada, or somewhere to buy paint, DIY stuff?

Cheers
Kev.

Hnos Garcia Torrevieja do a good selection as do Carrefour, Leroy Merlin and Aki. Some specialist outdoor furniture shops around but can be a bit expensive.

There is a very good DIY store, Cadena 88, by Consum, plus Quesada colours for paint. Also a couple of good DIY shops as you enter Los Montesinos.

Lots to choose from.

Definitely Siesta in Los Montesinos. Take the main road into Los Montesinos from Quesada / Guardamar end of Montesinos. Located on the right hand side just before the island on the main road towards the centre of Montesinos. We have bought several pieces of furniture over the years from them. Well priced. Good service.

I would also recommend the Siesta group. Top class furniture and an enormous selection to choose from. Speedy delivery too.
We planned to replace our worn out settee and chairs ( cheaper type) and rather than buying similar we opted for a huge rattan table and 6 big, comfy chairs. Now we can dine around this luxury table or push the table to the wall and relax in the sun ....the best of both worlds.
You won’t be disappointed! Better priced than Garcia too.
