Electric gate opener

Electric gate opener

Postby Singer » Wed Jul 15, 2020 12:00 pm

Can anyone recommend someone who can sort out my electric gate opener. Mine is working but refuses to be reprogrammed for a new remote.

Thanks in advance.

I can only give you a number of a company called Eazy 966 795 191. Give them a call, tell them your problem and see if they could help

I have the same problem. A friend suggested Eazy.es and they are coming next week and sounded very helpful.
If you can wait I shall be able to give an opinion!

Thanks Rioja. I will try to wait. It's a bit worrying when you only have one remote!

Does your gate not have a key as backup? So you can open it manually for when things go wrong.

Thanks in advance.

Last year my daughter asked me to try programming a new remote for her garage door, same principle as sliding gates.
After I had tried following the instructions 4 or 5 times and failing, I then found that I had learnt the instructions off by heart and was able to programme the new remote a lot quicker. Success, it worked.
Following the instructions line by line was too slow a process. It needed to be done in one uninterrupted operation.

Yes, it does, but the big gate and motor having settled a bit over the years the whole manual sliding performance is quite a comedy act. It's like trying to push a donkey. But as a last resort, it can be done, sure. I'll just wait for Rioja's report - I should be okay till then.

El Buho - I know what you mean. I think I too can now recite the instruction manual word for word. (But it still won't work!) I've done it in years gone by, but it may have given up the ghost this time.

Hi,
Eazy.es have solved my problem. They seem to know their job well, and very helpful. They do charge 50 euros
call out, but the work involved seems reasonably priced. Good luck!

Rioja:
That's great news. I'm glad you're sorted, and thanks very much for letting me know. I'll get on to them today.
Thanks again. Also my thanks to the other responders.
