Is there anywhere in the Ciudad Quesada area where you can get tested for coronavirus?

There is in the Pharmacy, El Ras on Lemon tree road, as you enter its on the right.
You make an appointment and the results are usually available the day after the appointment.
It costs 25 Euros, but worth it for the peace of mind.

Getting a ‘test’ is not something to be taken casually
You can have a test and prove negative and then get infected the next day so unless you have symptoms it’s pointless
An antibody test and a virus test are two different things
If you have a virus test and prove positive then you need to isolate for fourteen days
Best to talk to your gp before doing anything

There are 2 different tests & Clinica La Siesta do both. PCR tells you if you have the virus & takes 24 hours to 2 weeks to get back from the lab. A blood test can be done & checked for antibodies in 5 mins. I think they charge 30 euros.

And in those 24 hrs to two weeks you could get infected meaning a negative result would be of no use
Best not to have a PCR test unless you have symptoms
This is the advice all governments will give you

Out of curiosity, why do you want to get tested?

Are you aware that the PCR test is unable to test for covid-19?

Even the Spanish doctor of my previous post said that a positive result does not necessarily mean you have the virus or are indeed sick. Even an antibody check does not prove you have the virus either as this could be remnant from a past flu etc.

Unless you're sick and have symptoms, i wouldn't even bother seeing the doctor.
