Does anyone know if the town hall is open for renewal of Padron's or do you have to make an appointment due the Covid?

Try the Municipal Centre in Quesada.
Had mine and the wife's done a few weeks ago.

we went down on Friday to rojales, and got an appointment on Tuesday to get them updated.

I emailed the address on their web page, asked for a renewal (using Google translate) and attached a copy of my existing padron. They emailed me anew one within 2 hours.

I went to Rojales town Hall about 3 weeks ago for a padron renewal. I went at 11.00am to try & avoid any lunch breaks etc. Just went inside, the relavent desk is on the ground floor and just to the right as you enter. The chap on the desk is very pleasant & speaks sufficient English. I just showed him the original padrons & he printed the new ones straight away. The whole process took about 2 minutes. Good luck with it.
