Yes you can. There are no travel restrictions in place except during curfew.

Why has Puig announced as from midday yesterday that valencia borders are closed from other committees and N332 says that all spanish principles are closed initially for seven days

Sorry, what are Spanish "principles"?

The borders of the Valencia Community are closed for 7 days and no movement in or out except for certain reasons.

Principalities i meant so i was going to drive down via France I have an 'Exemption certificate' which doesn't really mean too much but once in spain I'd not be able to drive down hence my looking into flying to Alicante

If you are going to drive through France you should look at any restrictions the French have. There are, at the moment, no restrictions on entering Spain from France. You can drive through any of the Spanish regions if you are only transiting. You cannot stop anywhere except for refuelling and must avoid contact with any other person. The Royal Decrees have been posted here several times and state:

Article 6

3. Traffic in transit through the territorial areas in which the limitations provided in this article are applicable shall not be subject to any restrictions.

You would have to plan your route carefully as you cannot drive during the curfew hours which are different for each region..

If you fly into Alicante you can travel wherever you like in the Valencian Community as there are no restrictions or blocks on the municipalities. Was N332 referring to Murcia where people are restricted from entering or leaving their towns? No such restrictions apply in the Valencia Region.

According to Robert Peston, all international travel is to be banned during the English 2nd lockdown to be announced shortly, apart for work purposes. UK press conference is in half an hour, so should know more then!!

My van is loaded and ready to go I've just been confused by the conflicting news feeds

I'd watch the news conference at 5pm UK time.
