Hi, im looking to adopt a kitten/cat thats is around 5/6months to a year old that is in need of a home, would like one that is vaccinated and castrated allready but needs a new family, needs to be very friendly and loving that would be happy with small children around. Thankyou. Torrevieja area

Please go to the pound which is around the back of the police station by Carrefour.

I have asked a couple animal shelters but the adoption fee is quite expensive...

Maybe ask at vets too

We adopted our lovely milo from Torrevieja animal Shelter ( behind the Police Station) . He was 5 months old and vaccinated but he had not been neutered ( as was too young). There was no adoption fee ( but of course we donated food and some money). Rachel came and see us in our home ( to ensure Milo would be suitable for us ) and we collected him the next day.
He is so lovely. Please go to the shelter as there are some beautiful cats needing their forever homes.

From Quesada take the main road to Torrevieja straight down to the roundabout at the Carrefore petrol station.
At that roundabout take the slip road on the right ( look for the Taxi sign ) and drive immediately in front of the Police Station and the Fire Station.
Then take a sharp right turn and the shelter is at the bottom of the road on the left hand side.
It's a dead end so looks almost like nothing is down there but the dogs and cats are waiting for you and their forever home.

There are some of us on here , the well known Terry the gardener who is so helpful being one of us, who volunteer at the Torrevieja animal shelter and we have plenty of young cats that need a loving home. I met Sunworshipper who only came to donate some things as sadly her cat had passed away, she went away with the gorgeous Milo who had chosen her husband as his new best buddy. We couldn't have asked for a better outcome. As we say there's no harm on looking. Chrisdee has given the directions:)
