Costa Blanca Model Railway Society

Anyone know if the CBMRS is still in existence . I have applied for membership via their Facebook page , almost a month ago and my application is still pending which seems to imply the society is dormant . I also responded to a'shop' mentioned here selling railway controllers ( ......@ matey ) can't quite remember the full name , and they haven't replied . No one interested in model railways ?

I don't think they are because I'm also very interested in model railways.
I seem to remember them being based in Catral but I had no response two years ago when I tried to contact them.
The only other model railway club I can find is in Tuelada up near Moraira, which is too far away.

As far as I am aware CBMRS is still in existence as I am a member and I haven't been informed of any changes; the only thing is that as a some of the members are holiday home owners and the coronavirus situation, we haven't had a meeting since late 2019. Having just checked the facebook page, posts have been added in February and I hope that as soon as we can all meet up again that we will be having meetings again. Keep trying and I am sure Zac will respond to your request.
