Banco Santander, Quesada

We have been informed that Banco Santander in Quesada is closing, or possibly being taken over by an Agent. Does anyone know of this and what facilities that may be offered. Also can anyone inform us of the next nearest Branch is where we can carry out normal banking transactions. Any information would be appreciated.

I don't think there any truth in that...just gossip... I'm with them, certainly had no notification....

My brother had a letter saying it is being handed over to an agent

I hope this is false info as its a very busy branch & very likely to lose a lot of customers if it closes.

I am with them too but have not had any notification of closures

Thank you to everyone who has replied, we definitely received notification of closure/handing over to an agent but no date as to when this was to happen. My biggest concern was the facility for paying cash into our account to cover bills etc. me thinks I had better arrange a transfer in case we cannot get out this year again.

Santander are closing a lot of branches worldwide, not heard anything regarding Rojales though, we noriced last year that Almoradi had 2 branches round the corner from each other now there's is one.
