I don't live there but go there frequently for tapa in the lovely square, lots of shops and bars, farmacia etc. Itis only a little drive 5k I think, from Ciudad Quesada, load of supermarkets etc. It is set in beautiful countryside. Enjoy

Totally agree, Algorfa is a lovely small Spanish town with a population of less than 3000 and in a rural setting.

A load of supermarkets? I don´t think so!

I rented in Algorfa for 3 months while I was house hunting. It's a lovely little place with a good community. You do have to drive to get to a major supermarket but only about 5-10 mins.
The square is lovely at night with a good mix of British and Spanish. There are several good restaurants both in Algorfa itself and a short drive away. It also has several handy convenience stores. The coast is about 15 mins drive.
I do think you will enjoy living / holidaying there.

Quesada doesn't really do buses so it's very unlikely. Your best hope would be from Algorfa to Rojales, but I don't even know about that. As someone else has said there is an Algorfa Facebook page. If you join that you'll be able to ask people local to that area and they'll know about taxis etc. I imagine a hire car will be your best bet if you want to get out and about.
