THE BAKERY BOX: GRAND OPENING DAY

THE BAKERY BOX: GRAND OPENING DAY

Postby Lavender » Tue Jul 13, 2021 7:31 am

THE BAKERY BOX is proud to announce their opening day in Algorfa tomorrow, Wednesday 14th July at Ctra Almoradi-San Miguel Sa, ALGORFA. Down the road from La Finca Golf, just past the Bombay Restaurant. Traditional savoury, sweet pastries, cakes, everything baked on the premises from traditional British recipes by a family bakery of 26 years, originally opened in Puerto de la Cruz, Tenerife. No products are bought in and sold as our own. We buy the best steak meat for the steak and ale, steak and potato pies, sausage rolls from Essex Butchers in Dona Pepa....not the supermarkets. Come and enjoy a variety of excellent tasters of our products and a cava or two with the opportunity to buy from the display counter. Loyalty cards available with every 10 euro box, which many existing customers are already enjoying with our delivery service over the past few weeks until the shop was ready for opening. Come and join us from 11 a.m. tomorrow, we would love to see you. HAPPY DAYS!!!!!

Steak and potato pie. The best steak bought from Essex Butchers in Dona Pepa. Also steak and ale pies made with John Smith's bitter. Only the best for the Bakery Box.

I tried to explain the directions the best I could. Just further down the road from La Finca Golf urbanization towards Algorfa village (cv935) The Bombay Indian Restaurant is on the left hand side and the Bakery Box is just past there (used to be The Local Bar). I really can't explain it any other way. In fact people came down from Calpe and found it!!!! So sorry I didn't see the posts asking for further directions, but been too busy to come on the laptop. The open day has been a huge success and we completely sold out, so the shop will be open from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Friday, giving time to bake and re-stock tomorrow.
Just to remind people we are not baking bread, but concentrating on savoury, sweet pastries and cakes. Perhaps some time in the future bread will be on the agenda, but as it can be bought in all the supermarkets we wanted to provide customers with an extensive variety of British pastries and cakes.
I would like to take the opportunity to thank all the people who came to the open day. It was absolutely amazing and the support was just tremendous, words cannot express how much it means to us.

So from the directions im guessing its these shops that were empty when the Google street car went past, the Bombay Restaurant is extreme left at the end of the block

Is this correct?
