Any day now you will see the numbers drop in the U.K. and rise in Europe. That’s how this virus works. You will see the U.K. rapidly showing herd immunity because the vast majority of people are immunised and a huge number will be immune because of having Covid . The virus needs to infect people so it will move on and I think you will see it showing it’s ugly face all over Europe. I hope I’m wrong but that’s what I think. Not long ago,I didn’t know anyone who had ever had COVID-19. Now, almost everyone I know have had it. That’s how virulent it is. Yes, the U.K. make us pay for a test when returning or arriving into the country and yes,we have to pay for the test. Personally, I don’t mind paying as it’s a small price to pay to visit my beloved holiday home. The U.K. are doing their best to prevent the infection. Spain chose not to implement the same test….perhaps they should have but tourism is extremely valuable to the country so they opted not to demand a test….their choice. Every country should require a test for entry until Covid 19 is irradiated.

Sleaze has been commonplace with the ruling classes for decades, cash for questions. And the MP’s expenses scandal.
The same people that framed and fitted up the Shrewsbury pickets and had Miners jailed for trying to protect their industry and their communities whilst lining their pockets with brown envelopes from the capitalists from multi national, climate denying companies.

No one is saying don't test, but these private tests are the same ones the NHS issue and do for free. It's the profit making sleaze that annoys folk not the testing.

She had to pay in advance in excess of £50 for a test before she could fly back into the UK, and the test had to be take within 48 hours of landing. I'm sure most people on here are familiar with the test.
She was incensed at having to pay for this test which was totally unnecessary. She was after all coming from a country, Spain, that had a very very low incidence of Covid, into a European Covid hotspots, the UK. Why on earth should she had to do and to pay for this test? It made absolutely no sense to her.
The answer was of course blindingly obvious. The Tories were looking after their benefactors and donors, who were after paying them large amounts of money in bribes and bungs, to ensure that these hugely profitable and unnecessary tests were paid for, and carried out on people regardless of the country they were coming from, and where they had very little chance of carrying the disease.
Anyway, imagine my absolute surprise and shock, when I looked at the names of the 2 companies that had bunged £100,000 per year for each of the past 5 years, to the former corrupt and sleazy MP., Owen Patterson, who just resigned his office, and about who all the current political crisis is about,
According to the BBC website " In October, Mr Paterson who was found by the Commons standards watchdog to have "repeatedly used his privileged position" to benefit Randox a clinical diagnostics company, and Lynn's Country Foods"
According to the Rodox website "Randox Health, the UK's largest Covid-19 PCR Testing provider..."
I rest my case. Isn't the internet great.
Yes the internet is great,Maybe you should have researched the companies that do the testing and if you had you would have found a company called simplytestme.co.Uk which only charges £12 and not £50,and as of the 4th Oct you only require a lateral flow test, that is why the internet is great, but sometimes people cannot see the trees for the wood, do your research next time.

I think the NHS has enough to do without having to record and test people entering the Uk, we have choices you can stay at home or pay for a test it’s your choice.

So she should be exempt because of why?
