Local firm, specialise in having car here at your accommodation and picking you up/bringing you back to the airport. They have a fleet of c 40 cars, all decent, if not necessarily 'this year's model', and they don't bother with all the "checking for marks" car hire nonsense. OK so Peter is on WhatsApp +34 649173739
Very trustworthy folks. I hired cars from them originally.. before, once we had bought a house here, actually buying an ex- hire car off them for use here...

Coming from the UK you are probably used to being security conscious but be doubly aware in Spain and enjoy your new property.

Theres robbers worldwide even in Ireland , the home of

Sign up for Amazon Prime would be my advice. Use amazon.es and Prime membership if less than half what my UK one is at about €36 a year so then free delivery on a huge range of products. There is even an amazon locked down near the Arches for smaller items if you are not going top be at home or would rather use that.
We found Hnos Garcia reliable for furniture and good delivery service.
We have also bought a lot from IKEA near Murcia. They do home delivery on larger items also for a fee.

Yep - been a godsend for us. The delivery isn't quite on a par with the UK service I would say, but knocks spots off many Spanish comparable services so still leaps ahead. Quite often next day still albeit have had a few items that were delayed. Locker service has been ace too.
You also benefit from the usual Prime TV channels etc but of course the Spanish ones.
