20 out of 24 posts in general discussion are for sale items

On the first page on General discussion there is some charity show items under 1 post and a free sofa under another post, what are yous looking at

6 out of 10 were sales related. The OP had a point

It's when sellers list items individually, when it's better to do 6 things on one post then keep bumping them, they all appear on the same page. Worse when they've been trying to sell for months

Chris, there does appear to be a few types of seller on here.

The occasional seller. These are usually the one off sellers.

The down sizer/moving back to the UK. They have a few things to sell and, once sold they are off the radar

Then there are the Traders. These are serial sellers that seemingly make a living on the forum which, is against forum rules. And have done so over years,

Reet Petite? soutcoastgirl? Verapeter? hoppy1?

Nowadays, the forum’s administration is lax in policing these. I once had three items listed and Jan asked me if I were a trader. Now, apparently, anything goes

what is the big issue though, if you don't want to buy anything then just simply scroll past the for sale posts

But, there are forum rules. why is it that some rules are sacrosanct but, others ignored?

I think one or two are dealers, they should have to pay to advertise.

I think some people just complain about anything. Nothing better to do with their time. Sad really.
