Bank account for Property purchase

We were advised to open an account with Sabadell when we bought. What a nightmare they are!!. We were duped into buying a life insurance policy which we had to pay up front, sold to us by Sabadell and added to our mortgage. Totally inadequate for our needs. Now told, if we pay our mortgage off we need to get in touch with the insurance company and ask for a refund !!!. Our solicitors fontanels in Lo Marabu were a joke. They didn’t do very much other than to ask for an extra 15k just in case ??? (In case Of what ?? ).
Make sure you get a good solicitor. We are in the process of changing our bank. Sabadell are useless and our local branch can’t cope with day to day visits from customers .
