is there anywhere local to bulk buy sea/rock salt.

You'd think there would be with all the salt lakes around, go and grab yourself a bag

Upstairs in Habaneras, there is a large room with lots of photos showing the story of the salt mines. On the right hand side,there are numerous packets of salt in bags which are free to take.
The salt isn’t quite rock salt but it is rougher that Saxa table salt. A security guard popped in and informed us that we could take some I took one bag and was delighted!
