Apparently talking loud is a hangover from Franco's day. He thought anyone who whispered was plotting against him.

It's the same in all the Mediterranean countries.

It's a combination of olive oil, red wine and hot sun.

Spanish Italian Greek yes they are all loud but then so are Brits when you hear them shout to each other across a Supermarket aisle.....Lol.....
