Usually the knife sharpener but I haven't heard him for a while.
However, regional elections are coming up on the 28th of this month so be prepared for lots of them.

The current mayor and leader of PSOE in Rojales will be introducing his team and outlining his manifesto tonight at the Canario function rooms - open to all from 7pm with cocktails - and that was being announced from a speaker van yesterday.

The political parties themselves have to pay for their own advertising/promotions of course.

It’s called a charm offensive, Fred. That all stops if they get re-elected. Then we’ll return to the inactivity we got for the next few years after the last election.

Were you around when the PP were in power Mickey?
The current party, although far from perfect, have done an enormous amount of good for the town - cleaning it up. creating more jobs/work posts, enriching the fiestas - e.g. including the Chupinazo (water battle) into the Junes festivities, more cultural events, promoting the arts at the caves - the PP had tried to close them down - increased recycling points through the town, tried to get better rubbish collection deals - See how poorly other local towns have done before criticizing ours! - implemented the Linea Verde app (now replaced with Gecor) to report anything and get very quick responses - renewed the Recorral park (with help from Hydragua) installed kid's playgrounds, skatepark... etc etc.
All this had been going on without the prompting of elections!
Some people just don't recognise what they've got till it's gone!
