SUMA payments 2023

SUMA payments 2023

Postby ozzysteeve » Mon May 01, 2023 11:02 am

Hi All,

Sorry if this has been asked previous. I looked but couldnt see anything.
Is SUMA something you have to do yourself now as ive been receiving emails about this and noticed nothing was taken from my bank acc over April.
The last time any amount was taken was last Oct.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

SUMA collect IBI payments at the beginning of October. (Our last one was 3rd Oct 2022). They collect the car tax and Bashura (rubbish) at the begining of May. (4th may last year)

Yes i had this on email, so im assuming they will collect as normal from bank acc as i have direct debit set up.

Dear Taxpayer:

On May 10, 2023, the voluntary payment period for municipal taxes charged for this semester ends.

To avoid travel and surcharges, we remind you that you can easily obtain a duplicate payment of the receipts through www.suma.es or by calling the hotline 965 292 000. You can also go to any Suma Gestión Tributaria office.

Through these same channels, you can request an installment or make a personalized payment plan for the coming years.

If upon receipt of this email you have already made the payment, we apologize for the inconvenience we may have caused you.

Sincerely,
SUMA.TAX MANAGEMENT.ALICANTE COUNCIL

Even with the way tax offices fleece you, I doubt if even the Spanish hacienda has dared to try and charge a car tax if you don't own a car. But don't give them ideas.
