:text-lol: You just know that a simple question about how to work the days out would end in a Brexit debate.

There have been many benefits of Brexit and people should rightly thank all those who voted yes leave the EU. Spain can if it so wishes leave the Schengen area and negotiate different entry and exit rules. It can also leave the EU and conduct more trade without a protectionist group scuppering its attempts at growth. Britain contrary to speculation and the soothsayers, is actually booming, business confidence is at a all time high and tax receipts are the highest ever, yes doctors & nurses are striking as are rail workers, inflation has reared its head again, but interest rates are at a normal rate of 5-7% with savings rates hitting 3.75-4.5% House prices in affluent places are dropping and we are short of workers, which is seeing pay increase dramatically. Our trade with the EU has dropped by many billions some say by 30% and our trade with the rest of the world has out stripped any loss of trade with the EU. Euro car sales in the UK are at an all time low, Euro food sales too. So what’s the issue, well it seems that all those people working buckshee in Spain now have to be registered, pay tax and contribute, this surely is good for Spain. I hope Spain is booming like the UK.

And especially if they posted it under the correct heading like Brexit. As it's a 90/180 day post then adding stuff about the EU makes it very difficult to abide by "you don't have to read it" statements.

Oh, and just to be a hypocrite, a 92 billion trade deficit with the EU compared to a 5 billion surplus with the rest of the world in 2022 is hardly "outstripped any loss of trade with the EU" especially as the vast majority with the rest of the world was there when members of the EU under trade agreements anyway. The UK surplus with the rest of the world in 2016 was 31 billion pounds.

And car sales are down all over and has something to do with a financial crisis, I believe. UK car production slumped to its lowest for 66 years last year so hardly a thing to crow about.

There's a specfic section for peddling the Brexit twaddle, so "back at ya".

This was a discussion about the 90/180 calculation, then one individual started babbling on AGAIN.
