Possible post scam

Waiting on something being delivered...got a message supposedly from correos but no official heading or my name, saying there was a problem with delivery as a street no had been left off, asking us to go to an http"// blah blah site? Haven't done anything ....anyone else had this.

Definitely a scam. How would Correos know your email if they don't even have an address?

We had one a few days ago and were also waiting for something to be delivered. I said definitely a scam but hubby went to correos to double check and the woman on the desk said it was genuine. I still said definitely a scam so we left it. Our delivery turned up that day.

Oh well that sounds promising...think we will just wait too.

Yes, I did

Correos are increasingly sending texts to advise of tracked deliveries, in fact I got one today myself. No name BTW.

Very often you have to give your phone number when buying online so nothing necessarily sinister about getting a text.

If you are expecting something then the tracking number should be in the text and the link will begin https://correos.es/

I use http://www.aftership.com to track packages.

No harm in a bit of healthy scepticism but not believing Correos staff telling you a text message is bordering on paranoia!

No paranoia! Here it didn't have correos es on it no heading or nothing....sometimes if you have nothing to add then don't.I simply wanted to check if others had had this and they had .
