IPTV where to start

Hi,
I use an Amazon Firestick (similar to Kodi but more user friendly) in conjunction with Nordvpn (VPN)
I get more channels than I can possibly watch, including BBC iPlayer, ITVx, Netflix, Amazon Prime

I have 4k firestick with IPTV and also IP Vanish (VPN), 3rd year of use with no issues and only costs £50 for 12 months

I had Kodi on an Android box a few years ago. Constant glitching, buffering, and channels disappearing.
Is this still the case with them? I moved to a supported IPTV service and don't get any of the above issues now.

I agree, but as you know nothing will be better than a "Paid For Service" but as "boxes" get ever better with
much quicker processors and storage etc and user knowledge, it is always an optional free alternative...
I say give it another go.

Thanks for all the tips and suggestions. As I mentioned this is my first introduction to iptv.
I'm still not totally clear about how to get the 'content'.
Say I purchased an Android TV box. I install something like Kodi on it. Presumably I would need to load some sort of streaming provider on it. So which providers would give me access to most of the popular UK channels? - I realise this would involve a subscription. Is this something we can be 'open about' on a Forum or perhaps via a PM. I think I am particularly interest in an Android TV box.

Many will poo poo them (mostly those trying to sell you something else) but MAG 3 series boxes still work perfectly well and can be picked up for very little money. Add a typical €15/mth subscription and away you go, only pay for the 30 days you require. No VPNs required.
I've been using a MAG 324 for the last 4 years and it's worked perfectly with no problems whatsoever. I particularly like ability to download programmes onto a USB stick to view elsewhere, a facility not all alternatives have. My service provider is DVBLabs and I cannot reccomend them highly enough. Their 28 day catchup is almost unique in the market and is a welcome bonus.
