Think I may have sideloaded my app on the latest which is an extra step but easy enough.

Where necessary I download apps to my laptop then network in from the Firestick to install them.

I use CX File Explorer on the Firestick, IMO far superior and easier to use than ES File Explorer which everybody seems to like for some reason.
