Were does our urbanisation cardboard etc go

Hi I live on Lo Crispin and I’ve wondering for a while were all our Carboard. Glass, Cans go after they have been collected from the various different bins. We have put them in the designated bins, and I’m just a bit curious!!!!!

I would imagine the various recycling sites
