El Recorral Pk

Went to the fiesta in the park this morning. It was very busy with family gatherings having picnics. Also Rodriguez family setting up to possibly film for next series. The park has much improved from our visit years ago. A couple of questions please.
Can you drive through the park and also where do you BBQ during the allowed months of the year?

I think only the official cars are allowed to drive through. Never seen the barriers up when I've been there.
That festival today marked the last time the BBQs are allowed now until September. You can use any of the built in BBQs along the road or anywhere they have the picnic tables.

The park is at the end of C/Romeria on the junction with Avda Recorral. You can Google it for the exact location. Parking is among the trees on the lead up to the park.

Rodriguez family own Casa Manuel Estate Agents. Channel 4 TV programme Sun Sea and Selling Houses, although I dare say there are a lot of families with that surname.

I thought it was only official cars but some were driving through and dropping off food and tables for their picnics. Perhaps it was only because of the fiesta.
Certainly not a good idea to allow traffic in the park on a regular basis. Is there another car park at Rojales/ Benidorm side?

When the gates are open you may drive into the park and use the carparks inside, however the gates are only opened for functions like this weekend's romeria.
Barbecues are located in the park and I think you may have to prebook their use with the council, and can only be used when the green flag is flying at the park entrance gate due to fire risk, and not at all from beginning of June till October
