Beware of thieves

Hi folks just to let you all be aware, I was parking up my car in a bay at Consum Dona Pepa, a car stopped in the next bay and a guy got out and asked if I was coming or going, rolling down the passenger window I informed him I was staying, he then asked if I could give him directions to Murcia airport producing a large map through the window, this enabled him to rummage through my handbag which was on the seat, he took my purse!! I feel such an idiot and am gutted and angry with myself, please please don't fall into that trap.

Aww,so sorry it happened to u. They are scum bags. Is there any cctv in the car park and see if u can get a number plate and inform police

Thanks for your reply, I asked at Consum to see if they had CCTV, they advised I go to Almoradi Guardia Civil where a copy CCTV would be sent. The Guardia Civil were helpful and directed me to Guardia Civil in Quesada, I have an appointment for Thursday!

That particular area is a real target for thieves it seems. So sorry for you.

so sorry this hapoened to you. I learnt the hard way too and had my mothers necklace stolen from round my neck! I saw the Manager at Consum, they do NOT have a camera in the car park.

I went to the bank today, Caixa by park of nations and 2 scruffy gits were sitting on the steps as I passed they said hello so I replied with hello. When I came out one of them was speaking to the driver parked in front of me holding a folder inside the window I wonder if it was similar

The reason I was there was because I had a call saying it was Caixa and they were calling regarding a loan I enquired about, I've never enquired for a loan. So I'm thinking oh no scam. When I asked she said do you want a loan. No I don't but I want to know if you called, oh it was probably Carlos from our other branch, I said this is my branch I don't want another branch calling me when I don't know who it is, it's not right they should contact us through our online banking. She eventually went through a list on her computer for employees Tel nos and it was Carlos. You have to be so careful these days alert at all times it's a right carry on.
