Shutters and Straps

Can anyone recommend someone who can fix and replace window shutters and their straps?

This is really an easy job, just find anybody half handy! I buy the bits on Amazon to fix mine and DIY. The blinds are about 90Euros per window and the cord units are 13Euros. Takes a while to cut the blind slats down to size but is simple enough to remove and re fit them. Happy to share some pointers if required! I have another set (blind and cord) coming this week as.I am replacing one per month. Hope that helps. AlanH

This is the 1st one I replaced. The new blinds are aluminium and the whole operation is effortless (and quiet).

Unfortunately I don't have the time to shop for and fix myself. It only actually needs a replacement strap as the original one has only now snapped after many years. I don't think there is a problem with anything else.

Does "Mozzie Paul" still exist? He used to ve recommended a lot on the forum for this type of thing.
