New Indian Restaurant Opening

New Indian Restaurant Opening

Postby AnnetteD » Sun May 28, 2023 10:48 am

La Casa de Frida, the Mexican restaurant next to La Taberna on Av. de las Naciones has now closed and in its place is an Indian restaurant called Zaiqa. It’s due to open in the next week or two. Looking forward to trying it. I hope it’s a good one.

Well that didn't last long. At least 6 different restaurants in that location that I know of.
Hope this one fares better.

There’s Nan Kin, Pintxos, Da Silva’s, the grumpy Italian (still no idea what it’s called) and this new Indian. Plus La taberna and Da Silva’s bar for drinks and music. A very good selection.

It’s what we could really do with in Quesada another Indian restaurant!

Well they've tried everything else in that spot. Must admit, was rather disappointed with the Mexican one. The Tex Mex in Los Montesinos is worth going to, though.

Lucy who owned the Mexican and also Pintxos had a heart attack hence the reason for closing the Mexican. I hope the Indian restaurant does well.

The lady who owned the Mexican also owns Pinxos, she was advised to close one of them, due to health reasons. She closed the Mexican as that had only been opened a few months and wasn't as established as Pinxos.
