Yes Fred you are correct but it’s a bit of a moot point as the OP was asking for a code to extend Wi-Fi access because their 90 free minutes had already expired. There is no free Wi-Fi in cabins after the expiration of the 90 minutes so he/she would need to go to the lounges / bars to access the free service.

We've been to places hotels in internet cafes etc and had limited time. They get the MAC ID ?

Very good question! No idea how that’s done and just to add to the mystery, once you’ve paid for their premium Wi-Fi you can use it in the cabin!

I guess that it really depends on where your cabin is in relation to the public wifi router. We've had Wifi in the cabin but not the quickest.

Wrong question!

Ships are built of steel through which WiFi signals will not readily pass, each is in essence it's own Faraday cage!

As said though internet availabity at sea is via the marine satellite system and time on that doesn't come cheap.

Who said the OP couldn't live without it, or that they were desperate?
