Import motorbike from UK

Is he moving over to live permanently? If not, dont bother importing it, just leave it in Spain and use it when he is over on holiday.

Unless its a new machine he will have to return it to the UK every year for mot to remain legal [ strictly speaking it would not be ..!!] . I used to take my RIEJU 125 back every year in my van until i became a resident and then sold it .

Thought motorbikes need a yearly mot test?
What about the yearly mot for uk reg vehicles,

There are some mechanics around that have contacts with UK garages and can do a UK registered car MOT in Spain (Obviously illegal) but lets not kid ourselves that it happens.
