What is the going rate for tiling? Our patio is 26 square meters. Is there a general rate?

The tiler we have used in the past usually quote per day rate, some are 120/150 day. They usually say how many days it will take.
We usually buy the tile adhesive and grout.

We really need to have all the tiles removed, a skip hired and what ever is necessary to do the job. Quoted €1,200 for the work and €1,000 for tiles, adhesive, skip and grouting.
It seems reasonable to me but wondered if this par for the course.
It’s wonderful to have this forum for advice.
Thanks again.

Seems a bit high. Is it Spanish builders or English...I always use locals.

We had the tiler in for 3 days and he stripped the old tiles off, disposed of them and put up the new tiles for €500.

What meterage did lay in those 3days what hours how long was his working day, everyone's vague on times and meterage fixed, which realy matters if someone knows there own meterage and hours worked in a day then a comparison Can be made
